How do you fix the computer display so i can see the whole screen while playing video games?

Whenever I try to play a game on my computer I run into a problem. The top right of my screen is visible but the rest of the screen is black. This makes playing games very difficult because I can only see part of the screen. I've tried to fix this problem but I can't ...

How to fix a computer that won’t go past the startup screen?
